A Contemporary, Contemplative, Winter Solstice Celebration

Rev. Jacqueline Ziegler along with other members of the church offer this service. This beautiful service will be held at the church. It offers a more contemporary perspective on the Winter Solstice. There will be readings, drumming, moments of silence, songs, a meditation and a candle-lighting ritual. Childcare will be available. Please let Julie Konik know you’d like to use the childcare service that is being offered. Contact her at julie.konik@gmail.com. Parents, please note that this is a longer service. Older children who are able to sit quietly are invited to attend and participate. Please bring a drum or anything that can be used as a drum (an oatmeal box, coffee can, etc.). Also, bring a treat to share for the social time following the service. This service often becomes people's favorite and most meaningful holiday celebration. Seats fill up quickly so plan to arrive early!
